Space-ous offers expanded route options and cost savings through its relationships with carriers and third-party logistics providers.
Tooling Engineering
Space-ous recently expanded it’s capabilities to include tool engineering and program management services. We now have a full time tool engineer in staff to oversee tooling from tool shops sourced domestically and abroad. These programs include stamping dies, weld fixtures, and quality gages.
History
Founded on September 14, 2017, by Tammy Friedman, Space-ous Inc. was born from a recognized gap in the manufacturing sector. While serving on the boards of Northern Stamping, Inc. (since 2009) and Bear Diversified, Inc. (since 2015), Mrs. Friedman identified a critical need for women-owned companies capable of providing specialized support services, particularly in logistics and tooling project management.
To bring this vision to life, Mrs. Friedman partnered with business associate Susan Passov. Together, they spent a year leveraging their collective board experience and industry expertise to develop a robust business plan focused on the automotive and satellite sectors. Following a personal seed investment from Mrs. Friedman, Space-ous Inc. began its operations by providing premier third-party brokerage services to manufacturing firms.
